For complaints regarding federally-chartered national banks, i.e. Wells Fargo, US Bank, etc. consumers should contact the Comptroller of the Currency Consumer Assistance Group (800) 613-6743. For complaints regarding federally-chartered national savings/thrift institutions, such as Washington Mutual, etc. consumers should contact the Office of Thrift Supervision Consumer Affairs (800) 842-6929. For complaints regarding credit cards, such as Visa, Master Card, etc. consumers should contact the Federal Trade Commission Consumer Response Center (877) 382-4357. |
