Brief Description:Provides debt and financial counseling, as well as classes about a variety of financial matters. CCCS can often negotiate with your creditors to lower monthly payments, and in some cases, reduce or eliminate interest.

Services:CCCS of Nevada offers debt management and financial counseling to meet all financial needs such as getting out of debt, buying a first home, and saving for retirement. CCCS is approved by the Executive Office of the U. S. Trustee to provide to all residents of Nevada the pre-filing bankruptcy counseling and pre-discharge financial literacy as required by the Bankruptcy Reform Act. CCCS negotiates with your creditors to lower monthly payments, and in some cases, reduce or eliminate interest, late charges and over-limit fees. CCCS also provides information to renters, owners and first-time buyers to help with first-time home ownership. Seniors are provided counseling regarding Reverse Mortgages and those experiencing mortgage delinquency receive counseling regarding tools for minimizing losses. CCCS can help you obtain a copy of your credit report, explain it to you and correct inaccurate information. CCCS offers financial seminars and workshops on a variety of topics, ranging from budgeting to home buying to becoming debt free. CCCS counselors can also negotiate with the IRS to develop a payment plan for you and can assist you with paying off student loans. They will provide an answer for you within one business day. Most services are provided free of charge.
